Since all the ingredients in this ice cream are natural, you can serve this to your family guilt free. It tastes awesome.
1 1/3 C. honey
1/2 c. cocoa powder
2 T. cornstarch
1/2 t. salt
4 eggs
6 c. milk
3 1/3 c. whipping cream/heavy cream
2 t. vanilla
Mix honey, cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt together using a wire whisk, heating in large pot. Stir in milk and cook over med. heat until simmering. Beat eggs in blender and gradually add about 1 cup of mixture to eggs, beating constantly. Add egg mixture back into saucepan and cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in cream and vanilla, refrigerate until cooled. Freeze in freezer according to directions.
