Honey Rustlin' FarmsFree access to lush pastures gives chicks a healthier, leaner meat
Pasture raised meat has a delicious taste incomparable to grocery store meat
Promotes small local farming and the humane treatment of animals
Is much healthier than factory raised chicken
Our chickens can freely roam our lush pastures to eat grubs, worms, grass and other edibles. Electric net fencing is set up to deter predators. In inclement weather, the chickens move back to their PVC hoop house, covered with clear heavy duty plastic to allow light into the houses during the day. When the weather is cold, we set up heat lamps and heated water to keep the chickens warm and happy.
Compared to the smelly, closely confined chicken houses at farms throughout the U.S., our chickens live a life of luxury, free from the stress of sitting in their own manure. We do not believe unhealthy factory farming is the way God intended animals to be raised.
Experience the exquisite taste of pasture raised meat that is lean and nutritious and you will never want to go back to the grocery store. We raise chickens year round. We only raise a small amount of birds, so please call ahead to pre-order your chickens.

God provided animals for us to eat and nourish our bodies, but not in the way that the U.S. is raising them. Meat, especially red-meat, has gotten a bad rap. Yet studies have shown that grass-fed meat is considerably healthier than meat from animals confined in manure packed indoor housing, filled with the smell of ammonia and dust. Instead of filling their lungs with fresh air, soaking in Vitamin D from the sunshine, and eating grass, we are filling herbivore animals with carnivore foodstuff, packing them into chicken houses and feedlots, and filling them
with vaccinations and antibiotics.
Since grass-fed animals aren't crammed into close living quarters and have freedom to exercise and roam, the meat is lower in fat AND calories. Switching to low fat grass-fed meat can significantly reduce your caloric intake and automatically help you lose weight without any reduction in the amount of food consumed each day.
Grass fed meat tastes delicious and has a healthy, wholesome flavor. Our chickens aren't pumped with antibiotics and hormones. Their daily consumption of lush grass, bugs and insects as they roam in the sunshine and fresh air gives a superb flavor and texture to the meat - like nothing you've ever tasted in the store. Most consumers do not realize what they are missing out on because only their ancestors knew meat could taste this good.
Grass fed meat is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid, and Vitamin E. Eggs are higher in Vitamin D, folic acid, and Vitamin B12. For detailed information on the health benefits of grass-fed meat and dairy products, please click on ww.eatwild.com/healthbenefits.htm.
